Who is already using this?

Advertising via a CSS Partner is already used by a large number of online shops. When your ads run through a CSS Partner, the ads will display "By ShopXYZ" instead. "By Google". Below some examples:

Google Shopping with up to 20% click price discount on your Shopping costs

Google was fined € 2,4 billion by the European Commission in 2017. In short, the fine is due to the monopoly on Google Shopping advertisements, partly because the comparison websites were not allowed to advertise in Shopping.

As part of the new EU agreements, Google now offers the possibility for comparators to put the products on Shopping. To accommodate the comparators, Google gives great discounts to the advertisers.

ShopXYZ is a certified product comparator (Google Premium CSS Partner). By placing the products on Google Shopping via our certified Merchant account, you as a Google Shopping advertiser will receive a click discount.

You will receive up to 20% discount on the click price within the Google Shopping ads. This means that by bidding £ 0.80 you participate with advertisers who bid £ 0.80 via (normal) Google Shopping ads without a CSS Partner.
